Betting Odds LCS NA: Week 4 Tips and Predictions
The NA LCS Summer Split 2018 resumes on July 14! North America has just suffered a devastating loss at Rift Rivals, so it’s almost certain that we’ll see more teams experimenting with the pick/ban phase. With that in mind, how does this affect betting odds LCS for week 4 of the competition?
DICSLAIMER: At the time of writing this article, bookmakers haven’t opened the markets for any Cloud9 games. However, if you find decent odds on C9’s victory, it’s a good idea to bet on them. Two of their most recent losses happened against top-tier opponents, so don’t let that distract you from the fact that Cloud9 are on an upward trajectory. They have one of the best early games in the NA LCS, and they should be considered the favorites in their upcoming week 4 matchups.

100 Thieves vs TSM
A week or two ago, a clash between 100 Thieves and TSM would be a very close fight. But that’s no longer the case. 100T’s decision to part ways with Meteos will definitely sting in the short term, as AnDa won’t be able to fill his shoes in the jungle. And while the team could field Levi, this would require subbing out Ryu or—even worse—Ssumday. Rest assured, 100 Thieves’ synergy won’t be as sharp as it used to be.
Meanwhile, TSM had an entire week to hone their strategies and practice against the best teams in Europe. Their roster is already insanely powerful thanks to the raw talent of Bjergsen and Hauntzer. Combine that with the fact that Mithy is no longer giving away free kills and Grig is holding his own in the jungle, and TSM should be the heavy favorites.
BETTING ADVICE: You can place a wager on TSM winning the match for betting odds LCS of 1.62 at Betspawn. Granted, this doesn’t seem like the most lucrative offer on paper, but it’s as close to a sure thing as you can get.
Clutch Gaming vs Golden Guardians
Wait, what? Can there really be good betting odds on this matchup if everyone and their dog knows Clutch Gaming are the clear-cut favorites? The short answer is yes. As for the longer version, Clutch Gaming definitely hold a tremendous advantage over their opponents. The sheer teamfighting presence from Febiven is already enough to put a dent into enemy armor, but the added pressure from Apollo and Hakuho acts as the final nail on the coffin.
Meanwhile, Golden Guardians’ only hope is the Lourlo/Contractz duo. If they could break open the top lane, then maybe—just maybe—their team could have a fighting chance. But considering Solo has stepped up his game, that’s not likely to happen.
BETTING ADVICE: Most bookmakers consider this a very one-sided matchup, so you won’t find great betting odds LCS on Clutch Gaming’s victory. That said, there’s still one market you could explore. Clutch are a very slow team, and they have the longest average game time in the league. And while Golden Guardians are a bit better, they still tend to finish their games around the 35-minute mark. With that, it’s a good idea to wager on the total game time being over 33 minutes for betting odds LCS of 1.92 at ArcaneBet.
TSM vs Echo Fox
This is a clash of playstyles! On one hand, TSM are a measured team that prefers to play out every game in a very methodical fashion. On the other, Echo Fox are all about momentum, as they overwhelm their foes with unconventional picks and early game aggression. Unfortunately for Echo Fox, their flaws were exposed at Rift Rivals. Fenix and Altec don’t hold up in traditional matchups, and the only reliable carry—Huni—is far too aggressive for his own good. Meanwhile, TSM have the brawn to match Echo Fox in the early game as well as the brains to exploit their weaknesses.
BETTING ADVICE: You can wager TSM scoring a decisive victory against Echo Fox for betting odds LCS of 1.65 at EsportsBetting.
