European Masters Summer 2019 Semi-finals prediction

Posted on October 7, 2019

The European Masters LoL semi-finals will consist of two games, Mousesports vs. Berlin International Gaming and Mousesports vs. Berlin International Gaming.

The first series will be close, with the result largely depending on the early game. The second series will likely go to Fnatic Rising given they do not tilt.

Mousesports vs. Berlin International Gaming

Mousesports were able to defeat Excel UK in the quarterfinals, 2-1. The team has unfortunately failed to rid their early game weakness, at best going even in the laning phase. While mousesports usually have a solid mid-game, they struggled in their second against Excel, failing to establish sufficient vision leading to them getting picked. Berlin International Gaming (BIG) on the other hand tend to have games filled with action in the earlier portion. This will heavily pressure mousesports who enjoy taking a slower early game. If BIG are able to execute early dives well to secure a few early kills, they will likely dominate the game.

Prediction: Mousesports 43% l Berlin International Gaming 57%

Giants Gaming Spain vs. Fnatic Rising

Giants Gaming Spain took down the Rogue Esports Club 2-0, a great series that positions them well qualified to compete against the tournament favourites, Fnatic Rising. Giant’s roaming and tower sieging has been extremely successful throughout the tournament as shown in their games against Rogue Esports Club. Fnatic Rising as the tournament favourites have also performed well, defeating their rivals Devils.one in the quarterfinals, 2-0. The match is favoured towards Fnatic Rising given their strong track record with no signs of slowing down.

Prediction: Giants Gaming Spain 36% l Fnatic Rising 64%
