Echo Fox vs 100 Thieves
Week 8 kicks off with a clash between 100 Thieves and Echo Fox. Both of these teams are at the top of the NA LCS standings, but only one of them will emerge victorious. 100 Thieves exert tremendous amounts of top lane pressure thanks to the force of nature that is Ssumday. And while the same doesn’t apply to the bot lane, Cody Sun and Aphromoo know how to get through the laning phase and make their presence known in teamfights. Hell, even Ryu is doing well in the mid lane. The only problem is AnDa. The jungler lacks competitive experience, and it’s clear he can’t keep up with his veteran teammates.
Unfortunately for 100 Thieves, Echo Fox are in a perfect place to exploit this weakness. Not only is Dardoch one of the most aggressive players in the league, but he’s great at working with Huni and Damonte to shut down the enemy jungler. In the old days, 100 Thieves could wait out the onslaught and outmaneuver their opponents in the late game. But ever since Echo Fox acquired Lost and Smoothie, their macro became much sharper, and unless some wild changes happen, FOX will take over the early game and overwhelm their opponents.
BETTING ADVICE: You can place a LoL esports bet on Echo Fox winning the match for odds of 1.82 at ArcaneBet.
Team SoloMid vs Counter Logic Gaming
When it comes to LoL esports bet predictions, few matchups are as hype as TSM vs CLG. Granted, these organizations are currently down on their luck, but the long-standing rivalry still draws thousands of fans to their screens. On top of that, there’s no denying that TSM are getting better. Their week 7 was much more proactive than usual, and players like Bjergsen and Zven did everything in their power to dictate the pace of the game. And even though the results weren’t perfect—after all, they did lose to another base race—Team SoloMid look poised to make an NA LCS comeback.
Meanwhile, CLG are in their worst shape to date. They’re very aggressive for the first 15 minutes of the match, and Biofrost, in particular, breaks open games with his well-timed roams. But the entire team falls apart towards the later stages of the game as Counter Logic Gaming struggle to set up vision and navigate teamfights. Combine that with the fact that the org just parted ways with its head coach, and player morale isn’t exactly high either.
BETTING ADVICE: You can make a LoL esports bet on Team SoloMid’s victory for odds of 1.80 at Betspawn.
Team Liquid vs Cloud9
Finally, we round things out with a Team Liquid vs Cloud9 game. TL have been at the top of the NA LCS standings for a while now, but you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who’d call their position stable. On the contrary, they had some of the messiest early games in the league, and it’s purely because of resilience from veterans like Xmithie and Impact that they managed to orchestrate their comebacks. Moreover, the raw firepower of Doublelift makes this squad dominant in teamfights to the point where TL seamlessly win most 5v5s.
That being said, Cloud9 might be the first team to challenge them. They have the perfect mixture of talent and game sense, and players like Licorice, Blaber, and Jensen can easily give TL a run for their money. Moreover, C9 are renowned for their explosive early games. And even though their teamfighting synergy isn’t on Team Liquid’s level, they make up for it with raw mechanical prowess.
BETTING ADVICE: Cloud9 have all the necessary tools to end Team Liquid’s winning streak, so our LoL esports bet predictions are leaning towards an upset. You can place a wager on C9 scoring a win for odds of 2.10 at EsportsBetting.
