LoL Worlds Semifinals Predictions

We are now close to the end of the LoL Worlds 2019 and don’t miss our fresh tips and useful predictions about the upcoming League of Legends Championship 2019 Semifinals.

The 2019 League of Legends semi-finals ensures that an LPL/ Chinese team will be advancing to the finals stage. The first game will see the top two LPL teams go head to head, with Invictus and FunPlus Phoenix looking to settle the position as the top Chinese team.

The second semi-finals game will be a clash between the top two teams in KR and EU, SK Telecom T1 and G2 Esports.

Day 1 – Invictus Gaming vs. FunPlus Phoenix

Invictus Gaming managed to take first place in the LPL 2019 Spring Playoffs, while FunPlus took victory in the LPL 2019 Summer Playoffs.

Despite Invictus having a stumble in the recent LPL Summer split, they have recovered to top form for Worlds. Invictus were able to take a decisive 3-1 victory against Griffin, one of Korea’s top two teams with the strength to contend against SKT. FunPlus Phoenix were similarly able to take down Fnatic, demonstrating their strength.

Overall, the LPL has shown to be an extremely strong region, with the format being quite unfortunate, forcing one of these amazing teams out before the finals.

Day 2 – SK Telecom T1 vs. G2 Esports

SK Telecom T1 have an immense amount of pressure on them being the sole carry of Korea, the only team to represent the region in the semi-finals. In order to reclaim the region’s former glory, SK Telecom T1 must not only take down G2, but in a decisive manner.

That said, SKT have shown to perform the best under pressure, the team always managing to shine in the Worlds stage, especially during the final games. G2 Esports have a strong chance, their 3-1 victory over Damwon Gaming showing they can easily compete against even amongst the top Korean teams.
